A Nation of Sheep, Collectivism in America!

On a daily basis we are being reminded about some new "crisis,"that needs to be addressed. Whether it be global warming, health care, a corporate bailout or a medical pandemic the government is quick to let us know that action is required and that it is required immediately. Forget the hassle of trying to figure it out for yourself, just sit back and let the government take care of the problem for us. The collectivist trap is being set!

Enter the unknowing sheep, the American citizen(s).

Unlike the unknowing mouse about to feast on a hardy find, the American people are experiencing a sense of unease, something isn't quite right. Whether it be the sinking feeling that self reliance and independence is faining or the inability to determine ones own destiny without the pending fear of intervention from an outside entity ie(government). Something is changing, something is amiss in America!

The American people have long "cut their teeth," on the concept of individual liberty and freedom. The essential belief that every man is a sovereign entity, that they are entitled to do what they wish with their life, is at the very core of what it means to be an American. It is this sanctity of individuality, the right to pursue ones own goals, the right to enjoy the fruits of your labor and to pursue that which makes you happy that identifies America at it's core. With this as the pillar of our society we affirm that the only obligation that we have to one another is to ensure that others have the same freedom that we so cherish. This being the case, collectivism is not an easy sell to the American people, that is if we assume the American people even know what collectivism is and how it is they are being manipulated into it's system.

There is a strong movement in this country to fundamentally change the mindset of the American populace. This movement is being financed and implemented by some of the most "progressive," of organizations, and led by some of the most progressive ideologues in the world. Unless America is awakened from it's slumber we will cease to be a nation of individual liberty and become a nation trapped in the grip of collectivism.

What is the goal of collectivism? To impose social values and systems upon individuals, thus erasing their claim to inalienable rights. Why the attempt to remove inalienable rights?

Because, the inalienable rights of the individual interferes with a move toward statism, therefore in order for statism to take place, individual liberty must first be removed. In order for the state to become supreme it is first necessary for the inalienable rights of the individual to be replaced by "self-sacrifice." Once the citizens of a country are convinced that they must sacrifice some of their rights in order to improve the condition or status of others these rights then become "needs." For example, if progressives can convince the population that Health Care is a right, we must then consider the property rights of those who will be taxed to help provide this "right" to others. By taking away the property ie (taxes) of one group you are then violating their inalienable right to what is rightfully theirs, ie their property and their income. When you violate the rights of one group to provide a "right" for another group you are essentially re-defining the term to the point that a right now becomes a "need." This methodical approach is the reason that so many are seldom aware of the rapid and swift approach of totalitarianism.

When this happens the very definition of the word, right, is changed from something that is part of our humanity to something that becomes a need or a good. Since government produces nothing and only consumes, it becomes necessary for the government to further violate the rights of one group to provide for "rights" of another. In this system, the power of society becomes unlimited, meaning the authorities that control society are unlimited in their scope of power. Which in turn leads to totalitarianism.

This mindset leads to a rather obvious contradiction: There can be no such thing as a "right" to violate the rights of others. It is very important to understand that the needs of one person cannot infringe upon the rights of another person, which is precisely what collectivism requires. If the attack on individual liberty is not enough, one must also consider the political manifestation of individual freedom, Capitalism, and how it too is being attacked.

The modern progressives spew a message that suggests capitalism to be oppressive and unfair, however historical evidence reputes such nonsense. Capitalism has been responsible for incredible waves of prosperity, ingenuity and an overall increase in the standard of living for all Americans, even the most poor among us. The progressives need capitalism to be portrayed as evil, abusive and unfair, it is the only way that they can further their agenda to redistribute wealth.

Another problem with the collective model is that it re-defines the moral purpose of government. According to the collectivist, the purpose of government is to "provide for the public." This being their view, in spite of the FACT, that the model idea in which our U.S. government was formed was so that the government would PROTECT the rights of it's citizens.

With all consideration, the fundamental flaw with collectivism is that government does not produce anything, it therefore must take from one in order to give to another. Therefore, failing to realize that the ultimate purpose of government is to protect the rights of it's citizens and to intervene only when the actions of one person or group infringes upon the rights of another. It is here that the collectivist cannot be satisfied, they believe the role of government is to "provide" these so called "rights," to it's citizens. In most cases these "rights," are actually goods or commodities, which are deemed a right because the government declared them so. It is also important to realize that once these "rights" are deemed so and granted by the government, the government then becomes the source of all liberty. Which is the foundation of totalitarianism!

Many will argue that a refusal to follow the collectivist agenda is an act of un-selfishness, they will paint those that are opposed as without compassion, un-caring and non-charitable. But, consider this: Why is there no compassion and charity to the man whom the rights are being taken from, whose property is being taken against his will and given to another, where is the compassion for this man?

America is at a crossroads, perhaps the most important time in our history, the citizens of this country can no longer afford to act as sheep following our would be "shepards" down a path of destruction. We must wake up, realize what is happening and call others to action, less we remain dumb before our shearers!

Universal Registration! Stealing An Election

The Health Care debacle is just the beginning in a long line of attempts to steal the next congressional and presidential elections. A President that remains in campaign mode 24/7 will hit the road again today to further attempt a hard "sell" to the American public on his health care reform. This hard sell, despite the fact that 76% of Americans disapprove of the legislation, is merely an attempt to convince the public that they really do want this package. A rather difficult task to say the least.

However, if you think the health care debate has divided America, "you ain't seen nothing yet!"

The current administration has been in campaign mode since being elected. Knowing that Socialism isn't an easy sell to Americans, the current administration must manipulate the system in order to assure re-election, otherwise Barrack Obama will be a one term president. So what is the game plan?

By providing "free" health care for nearly 31 million Americans, most numbers indicate 7 million to be more accurate, the president is essentially assuring himself the possibility of 7 million more votes come the 2012 election. Considering the fact that Republicans will more than likely campaign in favor of "repealing" the health care package, the newly insured will have to vote for the man who gave them their health care in order to keep it, thus creating a new voting block for the president and democrats come 2010 and 2012.

The next proposal that is coming will be Universal Registration, this measure will transfer the responsibility of registering to vote from the individual to the federal government. This means that people will automatically be registered to vote based on DMV records, income tax returns, unemployment lists and welfare rolls. The problem with this proposal is that it is subject to fraud in so many areas. Many of the databases that will be utilized are incompetent and filled with non-citizens, felons and the mentally incompetent, all factors that would disqualify a person from voting. In addition to this, many citizens own land and pay property taxes in multiple locales, this would afford them the opportunity to vote in multiple locations.

The proposal for universal registration will also include an "Amnesty," proposal that will suggest that all illegal immigrants in the United States be granted voting privileges and citizenship. This measure could potentially create an additional 18 million votes. This voting block will once again be in-debted to the president and his party for their citizenship and free health care. Once again creating another strong voting block for the Democrats and President Obama. This would then have a domino effect and encourage other Latino citizens to join their brothers in support of the "GREAT LIBERATOR," President Obama.

The move for universal registration will also suggest to enable inmates to vote from prison. The proposed legislation will be similar to that issued by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which recently cleared the way for inmates to vote in public elections. This measure argues that minorities are being treated "unfair," due to the fact that a higher percentage of minorities are incarcerated. If given this new "voice" to be heard the inmates would almost overwhelmingly increase the voting block for Democrats and the president.

Now, to further stir the pot, consider the fact that the uber-progressive George Soros, who is responsible for the funding of just about every progressive organization in America, has recently created the Secretary of State Project. This project has been created to create a permanent political infrastructure that would support the progressive agenda. The first order of business of this organization is to locate, support and enable suitable progressive candidates to the various Secretary of State positions throughout the nation. Soros realizes that if he can financially support, like minded candidates that he can create a system of incredible power at the state level. The fact that the Secretary of State can drastically impact the electoral playing field is not anything new, however the fact that a single organization is out to privately finance campaigns in all 50 states is a rather totalitarian tactic to say the least.

What will happen in the 2010 or 2012 elections? Who really knows, but considering the abusive manner in which Health Care reform was passed one can rest assured that the modern progressives currently in control of this country are not afraid to go against the will of the people. It is important to remember that these are people who admirably follow the teachings of Saul Alinsky, "win at all costs, the ends always justifies the means."

I Am The Way!


March 21st, 2010, a date that will live in infamy!

During the 2008 presidential campaign Barrack Hussein Obama promised the American people change, he delivered on that promise in convincing fashion Sunday night. By a vote of 219 to 212 the United States Congress passed the Presidents controversial health care package despite heavy opposition and no Republican support. Unnoticed in all of the chaos, debating and back door politics was the fact that our congress created a "right" for the American people.

According to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, "health care is a right not a privilege." In one fell swoop, we went from a nation of inalienable rights, granted to us by God, to a nation of people that receive their rights from government. The United States of America has officially been transformed, things will never be the same again!

While most are arguing over the procedure, the language of the bill or the pending lawsuits, the majority of Americans are missing the elephant in the room. In order for a government to create a right for it's citizens that government must be the supreme authority and be endowed with the ultimate power. By pronouncing health care as a right, instead of what it really is, a good, the role of the Federal Government has shifted and along with this shift comes the supposition of supreme authority.

The Founding Fathers believed firmly that our rights were part of our humanity, "We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." These same men were disgraced by the actions of our Congress this Sunday and the ideology that that they were willing to sacrifice, life, honor and fortune for, has now been usurped by Totalitarian tactics and the doctrine of collectivism.

What is collectivism?

In other words, collectivism fosters the idea that the whole is greater than the parts which make it up. It is under collectivism that socialism flourishes and individual liberty is diminished. What was once thought of as the freedom to do as you wish, is replaced with the freedom to do as you wish as long as it benefits the common good or collective. This was the driving force behind such Dictators as Mussolini, Hitler, Stalin and Mao. It is also the dominant ideology of the modern progressives that have taken over the U. S. political scene.

Although, some might add that the intention of our leaders in Washington are far from the radical exceptions mentioned above. It is important to give consideration to the fact that our representatives are creating a system which, if abused, would ENABLE a would be tyrant, after all Hitler just wanted to "diminish the distress and suffering of the German people."

Shredded!


This Sunday, March 21st 2010, America will realize the "CHANGE" that it was promised during the last presidential campaign! The takeover has begun!

With the very pillars of our Republic being assaulted, the epic battle for Health Care Reform will take place in the hallowed halls of Congress this weekend. In spite of a populous movement that overwhelmingly opposes the legislation, the Democratic majority is dead set on ramming the legislation through. The Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, needs 216 votes to pass the legislation through the House. However, what is cleverly being overlooked and downplayed is the fact that the Senate version differs significantly from the House version.

Presently, congress is receiving in excess of 100,000 phone calls per day in regards to the legislation, there is no way to determine what percentage of the calls are in favor of or against the legislation, but one can rest assured that due to recent polls it would be safe to say that the majority of Americans clearly "do not want this legislation."

Another interesting twist to the weekends events is the now infamous "Slaughter Rule." Named after NY Representative Louise Slaughter, this measure could literally circumvent the constitutional process. This procedure would not require an up or down vote, but rather allow the house to "deem," the piece of legislation was passed and then permit the members to vote on several sidebars or amendments to the bill. This procedure is not new to Washington and has been implemented in the past, but never in a situation of this magnitude.

For the Democrats, to pursue the Slaughter rule as a back up plan is more than likely assuring the legislation will be on the Presidents desk as early as Monday morning for his "historic" signature. The effects of this legislation will be paramount to the future of this country and will leave no doubt as to the Socialistic agenda of the current progressive hierarchy in this country.

If past measures were not enough, we are about to witness the official shredding of the United States Constitution. Our Federal Government has sent a piercing dagger into the heart of our system of checks and balances and the hemorrhaging of our life blood, LIBERTY, will begin to rapidly flow from our bosom until we will cease to be the America of our forefathers.


NOTE:
Article 1, Section 7 of the Constitution stipulates that for any bill to become a law, it must pass both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The language is very clear the legislation is not to be"deemed" to have passed, but actually be voted on with the support of the required majority. The bill must contain the exact same language in both chambers and in the version signed by the president - to be a legitimate law, this is not the case with health care reform. This is the very reason why the House and Senate have a conference committee to iron out differences of competing versions. This is common knowledge and would be taught in a high school civics class, yet our leaders are about to ignore the SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND!

One only needs to ask the question, where to we go from here? If congress succeeds in passing this legislation, via the Slaughter Rule, they will have set a precedent in American politics. This action will then allow further measures in the future to bypass the democratic process and remove all responsible parties from accountability. If you think government was out of control before, just wait until Monday morning!

More Than Healthcare Reform!


The countdown has begun on Barack Obama's Health Care plan, it appears that the fate of the controversial, unpopular, unconstitutional proposal will be determined this week. In what is nothing more than an attempt to increase the power grip of the Federal government the White House appears determined to force the bill down the throats of tax paying citizens everywhere.

But if you think that Health Care Reform is an act of compassion, think again. Why would the Democrats want to pass this bill knowing that it would increase costs of health care, decrease quality of care and cripple our already weakening economy?

The answer is simple and down-right scary.

The Health Care Reform package is about POWER, and the concentration of power. When and if this bill passes, the Democrats realize that untold power will then be passed onto Health Care appointees who will have the authority to bypass congress and effectively manipulate the lives of every single American. This power will be concentrated in the hands of the Democrat party and their leader, the President.

Why get worked up over something of this magnitude, you might ask?

In 1933 a very similar power move was orchestrated in Germany by the National Socialist Workers Party. The "Enabling Act," which was proposed for the betterment of the German people, was forced through the German Parliament, despite overwhelming opposition. The act, permitted the current government to "suspend" the Constitution of the Weimar Republic for a brief period of time in order to "relieve the distress of the German people."

Interestingly enough, the Enabling Act was never repealed and the National Socialist Workers Party assumed total control of the government. Once all power was concentrated within one group the former balance of government no longer existed. Essentially, the checks on that government were gradually removed, and the rest as they say, is history!

Will this happen in America? In all honesty, this question is irrelevant, the real question should be why are we putting ourselves in a situation that could potentially lead to such abuse of power? Whether it be the Democrats now, or the Republicans in the future, are we prepared to accept such unbridled power from government?

Open Season On Conservatives!


The Progressive movement in America has apparently declared Open Season on conservatism. The most recent example of radical leftist policy against conservatism took place at Florida Atlantic University. A group of students desired to start a college chapter of the conservative organization known as Young Americans for Freedom or YAF. This desire led them to request an organizational meeting with a YAF state director, the meeting was attended by several like minded students.

During the meeting University president David Blank interrupted the meeting and demanded that the students adjourn and vacate the room. In a press release issued by YAF, the YAF State Director, requested an additional 15 minutes to complete his presentation, the President permitted the students to remain but became visibly angry upon hearing the views of the YAF state director moments later. The following excerpt shines more light on the subject:

"Upon hearing Diaz address the liberal bias on the FAU campus, Blank stopped the meeting again and boorishly ordered the students to vacate the meeting room. Blank the shut off the room lights, tore down the group’s promotional posters, and called the campus police."

The events proceeded to worsen as Blank called the campus police, which arrived and immediately began checking student ID's, other officers escorted the YAF state representative to his car. The following statement was issued by Daniel Diaz, the YAF state representative, who attended the meeting:


“If we were a Marxist, Socialist or Liberal group they would have let us finish our meeting, but the university officials and police harassed us because we are conservatives. This was the exact liberal bias on campus that I was discussing in the meeting that these future YAFers experienced firsthand. The university is no longer a place of open discussion and freedom of expression, but a breeding ground of intolerance for conservative beliefs.”


The incident at FAU, is only a small example of the all out attack on conservative beliefs on college campuses throughout the United States. The attacks are a result of the ultra-liberal philosophies of college professors who are free to ignore curriculum and instead use state funded classrooms for their bully pulpit. Students that do not tow the liberal line are often ostracized and subjected to criticism as well as talked down to. The arguments often proposed by these Marxist, anti-capitalist, anti-American ideologues are all too often without reason and logic. In many instances, the fact that their arguments cannot hold up to objective analysis so disturbs these progressives that they will fail students simply because their opinions are different. This coming from a group that constantly preaches TOLERANCE.


A recent documentary has exposed the hypocrisy of the progressive movement and it's attack from within our education system. I highly recommend this video and suggest that every American, especially parents of children that may soon be attending a college or university. Progressivism and The Constitution


The recent "pro-education" riots in California received tons of media publicity. While watching the footage, which showed protesters burning, breaking and destroying public property, I noticed a rather interesting poster/sign. The image was that of a hand holding a scroll of paper lying on an open book, with the following written above, "Education is a Human Right!" This poster encapsulates the very problem with the Progressive movement and it's disdain for our Constitution.

The Founders of this country believed that our rights as individuals was part of our humanity, and that no one could take those rights away. The Progressives, however, believe that our rights come from the government. Herein lies the fundamental argument between today's movement and the fundamental roots of the Constitution of the United States.
The great men that wrote our Constitution subscribed to the teachings of John Locke. An enlightenment philosopher, Locke argued that every individual was endowed with God given rights, his famous pen referenced them as life, liberty and property. Jefferson borrowed from him and wrote life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Locke believed that rights were not derived from the government but rather from the creator, meaning that government nor individuals had the authority to deny or restrict the rights of any person. Essentially, God gave you these rights and only God can take them away!
To say that today's modern Progressives (Republican and Democrat) have a philosophical difference with Locke would be putting it rather mildly. The modern progressive, whose roots are mired deep in Darwinism, believe in the evolution of society. They generally replace God with Government, this is possible because their entire philosophy is based on the idea that there is no God. Although, few progressives will openly admit this simple fact, it is an underlying truth within their very ideology. Therefore, by not believing in a higher power or creator, they then ask themselves the question, what is the highest authority on earth? Their answer of course is rather obvious, "the government." This government, is the grantor of all rights and this government is the power and authority by which they will build this "perfect," society.
It goes without saying, that the modern progressives, believe that as society "evolves," remember Darwin, that it is gradually creeping toward perfection. However, the only way that we can ever reach the socialist utopia, is if the government hastens the process through manipulation. The modern progressive firmly believes that the government can create a perfect society if the opposition is removed and it is allowed to operate freely and do as it will. Which brings us back to the poster or sign mentioned above.
The slogan on the sign suggests that "education is a human right." Since when? Consider the following, if education, which is a good or product, is a human right then that right is not part of our humanity. Which basically means that we are not born with it, but rather that it is granted to us from the government. If the government grants us our rights, then government can just as easily take our rights. This idea is inspired by the teachings of Marx and Lenin not John Locke, proving once again that the progressive movement is not in line with the teachings and establishments of our Founders.
Finally, consider the following, if education is a human right, how long will it be before housing , Internet access, cable t.v., electricity, automobiles, and other "goods," are considered human rights? If you think this will never happen in this country, you need to stop what you are doing and consider the fact that congress is attempting to force Universal Health Care on the American people, because they fundamentally believe that it is a HUMAN RIGHT!
We are marching towards something in America and it is not something that our Founding Fathers would have endorsed. If we continue to sit idly by without speaking up, without acting, the "fundamental transformation of America," that our President called for will have taken place and it will be too late.
